How I Use AI

I learn each section side by side with an AI tutor, and I do the mathematics myself.

• The tutor teaches by asking questions, and I answer before it explains.
• On exercises it gives one hint at a time, never a solution.
• Every page, solution and note on this site is written by me.
• Anything the tutor states that matters is checked against the textbook.
• Reviews at one week, one month and three months are done without AI.

Each question on the site records how I solved it.

• ● Solved Alone means no hints from the book or the tutor.
• ◐ Solved with a Hint means one hint from the book or the tutor.
• ○ Solved after Reading the Solution means I read a full solution, then re-solved the question from a blank page the next day.

The site’s title comes from “cognitive surrender”, a term Steven Shaw and Gideon Nave coined in 2026 for accepting an AI’s answer with little scrutiny.
