Linear Algebra, drawn as solid objects and as letters in space

Last Updated

This page tests ways to draw one subject in type, each at the size a figure would have on the contents page. Every figure ripples slightly when idle and reacts when the pointer moves over it, and the buttons above it switch its intensity. Each figure has a code, such as B4, so feedback can name it exactly.

A. Rendered Object

Solid objects lit from the upper left and rendered into a grid of letters and symbols. Lit surfaces keep their words, shade builds into heavier symbols on the page and thins out on a dark panel, and shadows, a floor grid and distance fog give the space depth. While idle, a slow wave of light and a drifting blue move across each object.

B. Letters in Space

Letters placed along lines and surfaces in space and drawn in perspective, so depth comes from size, fade and overlap. While idle, a band of brighter letters travels through each figure.

How to Reply

Name the figure and the intensity, for example A1 Bold or B4 Balanced, and say what to change, such as size, density, colour, motion or wording. Mixing is fine too, for example the object from A2 drawn in the letters of B3.
